Kaye Browning

Tours of the KSB Miniatures Collection and other galleries at the Kentucky Gateway Museum Center can be arranged by appointment. Kaye enjoys giving tours of the gallery, herself, and typically spends about two hours with groups discussing everything from behind-the-scenes stories about the items and the artisans to the historical and cultural significance of the original pieces from which the miniatures were modeled. A donation to the museum is appreciated for personal tours and can be left in the donation box in the gallery.

Special requests for an additional slide show presentation can be accommodated for $100. If you would like Kaye to tailor the presentation to your group’s specific interest, please allow two months’ notice. The museum also has facilities for use if your organization wants to arrange for a catered lunch. Simply mention your desires when making reservations. All tours must be scheduled four days in advance.

Kaye Browning is available for presentations and public speaking engagements at venues outside of the museum. Her most requested appearance includes a slide show highlighting 50 decorative arts pieces in one-twelfth scale. With advance notice she can tailor the presentation to the interests of your group or organization. To schedule an appearance call 606-564-5865. The cost is $250 per engagement. Additional fees may apply for long distance travel.
